Our cruise wanderlusting sets our sights on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. Known for its volcanic beaches, reef diving sites and rainforests (with waterfalls), this island nation is a tropical fantasy that would cure any case of winter blues. We especially love Jade Mountain, a hill-side resort with panoramic views of the Pitons and Soufriere Bay. Stay for a slice of paradise and partake in the fresh seafood fare the establishment is known for. What to wear: Carena Bikini in Lagoon.

Spotted: model Audra LaRay flaunting the Mai Mesh Bikini in Miami. We think the Mai in Lime is a fresh take on swimwear brights. It’s an upbeat color for sunny Florida and the mesh detail adds unexpected edge. The BLUMOSS signature hardware gleams from between the cups and at each hip for subtle bling. Try this ‘kini for your next standout moment. As Audra says, “[they] couldn’t ignore me if [they] tried!” Shop the look here.

3 Movie Inspired Costumes To Try With Your Swimsuit

With Halloween fast approaching, we’ve picked three iconic movie characters to help inspire your best costume yet! Grab a suit and start your DIY sexy halloween costume now:

  1. Underworld - we love Selene’s tough girl look. Leading lady Kate Beckinsale wore a sleek corset over her bodysuit. Try pairing our La Digue or Eden Maillot with leggings or opaque tights to channel your inner vampire.

  2. Elvira - an icon in her own right, Elvira made gothic sexy. Wear our plunging Villa with a high slit skirt to morph into a spooky siren.

  3. Alexander - Queen Olympias, played by Angelina Jolie, was deviously sultry in her toga. Get the look by dressing up our Ischia suit with a light shawl and maxi. Intricate jewelry plus an armband complete a costume fit for royalty.

Cruise season is fast approaching and before you get overwhelmed with the newest resort looks for your destination vacation, plan to anchor your outfits around a handful of staples. These pieces are key to mixing and matching into a variety of combinations that will take you through your trip. Added bonus? You’ll be a more efficient packer (which leaves more room to bring back souvenirs!). We’ll help you get started with these packing essentials you’d best not leave home without:

  1. Bikini - this may sound like a no brainer but really take the the time to find a two-piece you are comfortable with, especially if your cruise is a family-oriented one. Need full coverage? Shop here.

  2. Maillot - versatile to have on hand as a one-piece swimsuit and very easy to pair with a maxi or sarong for quick modesty.

  3. Caftan - swim cover-ups are often lightweight, easy to pack and  gorgeous! Make a bold statement with a caftan in a fun print - nothing will get you in vacation mood faster.

  4. Carry All - the quintessential bag to tote everything you need. Use it enroute to the  airport, as your pool bag and while you’re traipsing about a quaint, little port town.

  5. Sundress - whether a simple shift or A-line frock, dresses (in solid colors, especially) are easy pieces to build a look around. Dress up, dress down, accessorize differently and you’re good to go!

Runway Worthy: Eden Mesh Panel Maillot

“My favorite look was the Eden. I just know that all that mesh would make me feel sexy!” This from an enthusiastic spectator at a recent New York runway show featuring BLUMOSS. We can’t help but agree! Also a favorite among bloggers, the Eden Mesh Panel Maillot is a swimsuit uniquely unforgettable. Both edgy and feminine, it is not your traditional one-piece. What makes it so runway worthy? Find out below:

  1. Turn heads in a lingerie-inspired look evoking sexy, boudoir-beach style.

  2. Mesh panel provides just the right amount of coverage so you can get the look of a bikini in the comfort of a one-piece.

  3. Details that shape and contour - double piping down the torso makes for long, lean lines; center ruching at the top creates a flattering sweetheart neckline.
